Throw Weights & Lines

Arborist throw weights and lines are essential tools for setting climbing or rigging lines into trees from the ground, significantly improving efficiency and safety. A weighted, often brightly colored, aerodynamic bag (typically 8–16 oz) is attached to a thin, strong, low-stretch line (1.75mm–3mm) and thrown, or launched via a Big Shot, over a target branch.
